Sympathy is a virtue we must
cherish.
Yet
today, we find ourselves increasingly trapped
In
the comforting bubbles of self-love.
![]() |
But
sympathy, the ability to feel with others—is fading.
It’s
unfortunate.
We
are becoming ruthlessly self-focused.
The
space for heartfelt connection is shrinking.
Narcissism
and apathy are creeping in,
Dimming
the light of shared humanity.
It’s
time to break free
From
the narrow confines of ego and self.
Let
us open our hearts
To
the joy and sorrow of others.
Let
us listen, care, and uplift.
True
happiness is not solitary.
It
multiplies when shared.
